“Waves of Praise - Holy, Holy, Holy”
Isaiah 6:3
Isaiah 6:3
A very simple image of the open heavens revealing three gold waves of our praise lifted up into the highest heavens…Holy! Holy! Holy!
During the service, after painting this image, I was confronted with the thought that this image was too simple, then asking myself, ‘Was this real?’ After the service, JoEllen took one look at this picture and burst out crying. When she could talk, Jo said to me, “Don’t ever doubt! Don’t change a thing. You can never go back.” I knew that God had used her to speak to me. Then Jo went on: “God is holy! The Trinity is holy. We must be holy; we must be pure. My life will never be the same. This changed my life.”
Later that evening Jo spoke to me concerning this Art: “What you are doing is vital; it is not an Art form…it’s bigger. There is an anointing on it. All have a different message. That one pierced
me. After that, I can’t go back to my way of thinking, of doubt, of compromise”…and told me what that meant for her.
I said that I was thinking these pictures need to be more beautiful and rich. Jo: “They already are! The outside doesn’t need to be fancied up! It is the Word that comes out. God is holy and He expects us to be holy. We think we have to do something. These images are straightforward.
Don’t dismiss anything. There’s power in all of it as long as you are submitted and let it flow. Don’t ever think less of what you do than what it is. You are doing important things back there.”
Final words: “Don’t ever doubt it!” 3/7/2010

“Overflowing Heart”
Ps 45: 1-2
“It’s the overflow of a forgiven soul” is what we were singing when this image came to me. This is a picture of an overflowing heart before the Throne of God. The heart belongs to a redeemed person and is depicted as pink because it is in glory and is “in the light, as He is in the light.” The heart is before the glorious Throne of God, overflowing in thanksgiving, love and praise. 3/14/09

"How great is your goodness, O Lord, which You have stored up for those who fear You; that You show to those who trust You in the sight of men." Ps 39:12
I saw clearly this image. God's goodness is shown in pink because it is illumined by glory. This is a vision into the Goodness of God in glory. It was painted with the exact same colors as the picture above...the pink color was not pink per se; it was red, illumined by glory as well. The Goodness of God is for those who fear Him and trust Him. It is stored up, which implies superabundance. We can be confident it is there and stored up, waiting to be poured out on those who fear and who trust Him before men.
